Lead Analyst (Cardiovascular/renal/metabolic)

We are seeking a Lead Analyst to manage our Cardiovascular analyst team, who will play a critical role in providing critical analysis and informatic services to clients. Your insights and output will inform critical decision-making by clients across multiple sectors including, for government, public health, pharmaceutical, medtech, investor and other business sectors. The role holder will help develop our Cardiovascular/renal/metabolic disease analytics across competitive intelligence, commercial and disease outcomes identifying key questions for clients in order shape analysis and always aim to pre-empt the impact changes and new data within the space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Cardiovascular analytics team to turn science-related data into clear written insights and oral analysis for clients.
  • Strategically enhance and improve Airfinity’s offering in the cardiovascular/ renal/ metabolomic space and provide thought leadership on Airfinity’s positioning and offering in the space.
  • Be a trusted client contact and expert in the cardiovascular/renal/metabolic space and develop a strong relationship through discussion, workshops and regular briefings.
  • Develop and implement data analysis strategies to drive insights and recommendations. for clients.
  • Manage project timelines and deliverables to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Deliver effective stakeholder presentations and demonstrations to optimise the value of Airfinity’s solutions to clients
  • Contribute to account planning processes and feedback-based improvements on processes.
  • Identify opportunities for business growth and develop strategies to expand the team’s offerings.
  • Mentor and coach team members to develop their skills and foster their professional growth.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Several years of experience in data analytics or consulting in the life science industry, ideally in the cardiovascular/renal/metabolic disease space
  • At least a doctorate degree (or equivalent level of experience) in life sciences, data science or statistics.
  • Demonstration of strong commercial understanding and insight generation.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in statistical analysis and data visualisation tools such as Excel, R, or Tableau.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail to effectively scrutinize scientific results and publications with the capability to produce predictive analytics.
  • Evidence of strong professional growth, agility and thought leadership.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience presenting to clients, including C-suite, and key stakeholders.
