Potential Responsibilities May Include, But Are Not Limited To:

  • Install, calibrate, and maintain electrical systems and process control devices.
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
  • Diagnose and recommend repair solutions for electrical power, control, and process control equipment.
  • Assist in planning, budgeting, and executing electrical facility projects.
  • Operate hoists, lift trucks, hand tools, and power tools.
  • Manage and maintain spare parts inventory as needed.
  • Perform preventive maintenance during plant outages or as required.

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must hold and maintain a valid ND Journeyman Electrician License.
  • Commitment to ADM’s safety culture, adhering to company safety procedures.
  • Ability to develop and maintain proper use, care, and safety practices for all necessary hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other job-related tools.
  • Consistent and reliable attendance.
  • Must successfully complete a maintenance assessment evaluating technical aptitude, abilities, and work habits.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including but not limited to: prolonged standing and sitting, working in confined spaces and at heights, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders, working in extreme temperatures (hot, cold, dusty environments), lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted, and wearing a respirator.
  • Availability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime, including on-call shifts as needed.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively in a team environment when required.
  • Professional demeanor with a positive and respectful attitude.
  • Basic understanding of process sensors and transmitters.
  • Familiarity with electrical safety devices such as breakers and fuses.
  • Strong electrical troubleshooting and repair skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical work practices and guidelines, including those outlined by the National Electrical Code (NEC).
  • Willingness to enroll in and complete trade school courses selected by ADM management on an ongoing basis.
