In this role, you will:
- Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies
- Project Management: Opportunity to assist in coordination of maintenance projects in a processing plant. Water Treatment facility or in mobile maintenance; responsible for organizing, scheduling and monitoring the status of maintenance projects
- Monitor project budgets and identify inefficiencies and offer cost effective solutions
- Collaborate with engineering team to produce detailed designs for mechanical projects on site such as upgrades to equipment or building facilities
- Support Reliability Maintenance initiatives including Failure and Root Cause Analysis
- Coordinate the plan and schedule for maintenance shutdown work
- Supporting operations and work with skilled trades to troubleshoot equipment failure and develop repair scopes of work
- Create and evaluate innovative ideas and technologies to help improve the way we do business
Requirements:
- Working towards an Undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering
- A valid Class 5 Driver’s License or extra-provincial equivalent, without learner’s restrictions
- Comfortable working in a dynamic industrial work environment with a range of engineering, technical and operational personnel
- Motivated self-starter with the ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with a capability to communicate complex ideas to all levels
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and a solid understanding of AutoCAD and Solidworks would be advantageous
