In this role, you will:
- Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies
- Contribute to the application of Human Resources policies and procedures, salary and benefits administration, organizational communications, and performance management
- Collaborate on research and report writing for the human resources department
- Assist with planning and executing new hire orientation and other company events
- Lead, assist or support in ongoing Human Resources projects
- Support the Human Resources team by completing administrative duties such as preparing communications, updating or filing documentation, preparing reports, etc
- Create and evaluate innovative ideas and technologies to help improve the way we do business
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing an Undergraduate degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources
- A valid Class 5 Driver’s License or extra-provincial equivalent, without learner’s restrictions is preferred
- Motivated self-starter; able to prioritize work under pressure and show great attention to detail while maintaining confidentiality and a high level of professionalism
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas and concepts to multidisciplinary teams
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access)
- Experience with HR programs/software would be an asset
