Key Responsibilities

As an IT Auditor, your responsibilities will include:

  • Evaluating IT Controls: Assess the design and effectiveness of IT controls, with a strong emphasis on Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance.
  • Control Testing and Walkthroughs: Conduct control testing, perform detailed walkthroughs, and create or update control procedures and flowcharts.
  • Risk Assessments: Identify and assess risks to ensure robust internal controls are in place.
  • Audit Design and Execution: Develop and implement audit procedures and test steps to effectively evaluate internal controls.
  • Evidence Interpretation and Analysis: Analyze audit evidence, assess observations for potential impact, and provide informed evaluations.
  • Timely Task Completion: Ensure tasks are completed on time, maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
  • Communication of Results: Clearly present audit findings and insights to business partners and stakeholders.
  • Remediation Tracking: Monitor and track audit findings through to remediation, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Departmental Contributions: Support the success of the department by participating in strategic initiatives and special projects.

Work Environment and Additional Information:

  • Work Setting: Primarily based in an indoor office environment, with occasional field activities. Standard office hours are five days per week, with potential weekend work depending on business needs.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Work Authorization: Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, both now and in the future.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • Experience: At least two years of experience in IT SOX compliance or two years of general computing control testing experience.
