Inventory Management Specialist

The Inventory Management Specialist is responsible for overseeing inventory organization, control, and distribution at Atria. This role ensures accurate tracking, timely replenishment, and proper storage of inventory while maintaining optimal stock levels to support business operations. The specialist will collaborate with various departments, including Home Services and Operations, to facilitate seamless inventory management.

Responsibilities

Inventory Control

  • Maintain accurate inventory records, tracking stock levels, orders, returns, and backorders.
  • Conduct routine stock counts (bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly) and resolve any discrepancies between physical and system inventory.
  • Monitor product shelf life and coordinate replenishment or disposal of items nearing expiration.
  • Assist in implementing inventory control systems and best practices to minimize errors and prevent overstocking.
  • Prepare draft purchase orders for review and approval by the Operations Manager.

Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure all medical inventory meets safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of experience in medical inventory management.
  • Strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Knowledge of best practices in inventory control and industry standards.
