Job Description
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Serve as a backup for the Inventory Control Specialist I.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels, track stock, and investigate discrepancies to determine root causes.
- Record purchases, update databases, conduct physical inventory counts, and reconcile stock discrepancies with system reports.
- Perform daily and weekly cycle counts following the Cycle Count Plan.
- Create bin locations and label racking for efficient inventory management.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to staff, student employees, interns, and volunteers involved in inventory tasks.
- Assist in master data collection for inventory accuracy.
- Oversee daily monitoring of production lines and track leftover inventory.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers as needed.
Required Skills, Education & Experience:
- High school diploma required.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control, supply ordering, and stock management.
- Ability to reconcile stock counts with system-generated reports.
- Proficiency in database management and record-keeping.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Clerical and word processing skills.
- Forklift certification required.

- Remaining stationary for extended periods, either standing or sitting.
- Lifting or moving objects up to 45 pounds in various directions.

- Communicating and exchanging information with others.

- Ensuring work accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness.
