Position Summary

This role supports the International Logistics Team by assisting with daily operational tasks and ensuring the smooth coordination of international shipments. Working closely with the International Logistics Specialist, this position will collaborate with freight forwarders to arrange global transportation and facilitate the timely and accurate completion of international orders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and organize import and export records in compliance with regulations.
  • Gather and file necessary international documentation, such as air waybills and Customs export filings, for recordkeeping.
  • Oversee daily import/export transportation activities to ensure efficiency.
  • Obtain competitive freight quotes from freight forwarders.
  • Coordinate with Customs brokers and freight forwarders to provide required import/export documentation.
  • Prepare shipping documents and ensure all necessary export documentation is included for international shipments.
  • Work with freight forwarders to schedule and arrange prompt shipments to international customers.

Minimum Requirements:

Education:

  • Associate’s Degree preferred

Experience:

  • 1–3 years of experience in international logistics.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer systems/databases.
  • 1–3 years of experience handling export documentation in a manufacturing environment, specifically for outbound international shipments.
