Description:
Job responsibilities:
Filling Pyxis, outdating, sterile compounding, auditing, billing, and as assigned.
How many days of training/orientation are required prior to start?
1-2 weeks
What skills are required:
Inpatient, 3+ years of hands-on, IV
Dates of Coverage needed:
ASAP – 3-6 months. Or until a perm is hired.
Coverage Hours needed:
Variable, most shifts 7am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday/Tuesday through Saturday
Staff Size:
Pharmacist 2 FTE, tech 1 FTE

- Casual dresses (as long as no shorter than 2 inches above the knee), Dress skirts
- Hospital does not provide shoes.
SHOES must be closed heel and closed toe:
Loafers or tie shoes, Dress sandals, Dress or casual boots, Casual, low-heel, Flats, Dress sneakers (clean in appearance, non-athletic)
Additional Information: Fast paced, must be adaptable to change, perform within team environment, be detail oriented, patient safety and regulatory awareness. Come prepared to make sterile compounding. The wearing of artificial nails, extenders, and nail polish is prohibited. Natural nails shall be kept neat and trimmed cosmetics; and all visible jewelry or piercings (follow compliance with USP 797).
