Job Description:

Jardeg Construction is actively seeking certified Insulator Apprentices for the CNRL Wolf Lake Maintenance project near Bonnyville, Alberta. This opportunity offers a structured 4-days-on, 3-days-off rotation with 11-hour workdays, including three 15-minute breaks and a 5% RRSP contribution. Preference is given to local candidates from the Bonnyville/Cold Lake area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install end caps, tees, and bevels; prepare surfaces for PVC installation on insulated pipes; install PVC and metal on insulated pipes.
  • Prepare and install canvas surfaces on piping, ducts, and equipment.
  • Adhere to written and verbal instructions from supervisors.

Qualifications:

  • Apprentice Insulator certification or equivalent trade qualification.
  • Proven experience in industrial or construction settings.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of insulation materials, tools, and installation techniques.
  • Strong commitment to safety practices and protocols.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements:

  • CSTS 2020 certification.
  • CSO certification.
  • Confined Space certification.
  • Fall Protection certification.
  • H2S Alive certification.
  • Class 5 (Non-GDL) License with a 3-year driving abstract.
  • Proof of hours/apprentice ticket.
  • Successful completion of a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test.
