Position Title : Innovation Project Manager – Marketing for North America
Position Reports to: Head of Marketing, North America
Department: Marketing
Location: New York City – Hybrid (3 days office) Mandatory
The salary range for this role, based in New York, is US $100,000 to US $135,000.

We’re looking for a talented Innovation Project Manager – Marketing for North America, to help us redefine the conventions of our category, build our portfolio of brands through innovation, and be a key player in the organization’s future growth. In this role, you will have project leader responsibilities with cross-functional teams in the development of new products with a consumer-first mindset; taking projects from concept to production.
You will lead the input into related activities including business analysis, channel development and launch plan recommendations within the full marketing mix including product, price, promotion, and packaging.

Our Ideal Candidate:
- We are looking for candidates from FMCG / CPG companies Only.
- Should have 4+ years of experience running innovation (both product and packaging) projects end-to-end
- Should have experience managing innovation stage-gate process.
- You need to possess strong analytical and financial skills developing business cases in collaboration with sales and finance teams.
- Has 4+ years minimum of project management experience, preferably at a FMCG / CPG company.
- Bachelor’s Degree with equivalent experience in Marketing, Business or other relevant degree.
- Must be detail oriented, with a strong analytical foundation and project management skills.
- Forward thinking and curious about consumer needs and can innovate with autonomy.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, agile culture and consider themselves a self-starter who embraces ambiguity.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Circana/ Nielsen
What You Will Do
- The Innovation Project Manager – Marketing will plan, lead, coordinate and control the execution of projects for the North America business. The role mainly focuses on the implementation of North America marketing innovation and will manage workstreams across cross functional teams in the United States, EU, and Thailand.
This will require:
- Interdependent partnering with the other functions, including Operations, Manufacturing (internal & external), Sourcing/Procurement, Regulatory Affairs, R&D, Sales Operations, and other Project Management counterparts.
- Willingness to work across time zones.
- Effective communication with senior leaders and regional stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide the development of regional business cases: drive activities to meet project and business objectives including approval of project recommendations through senior leadership.
- Influence others beyond own scope and level: lead communications with all levels of stakeholders to enable informed decision making.
- Drive team accountability for deliverables and ensure projects meet defined project milestones.
- Lead team through innovation analyses and drive recommendations across price, product, packaging and promotion, in addition to P&L forecasting of business cases.
- Proactively identify and escalate risks and issues to relevant stakeholders, lead development and delivery of tactical and achievable mitigation and contingency planning.
- Monitor project status and execution; report timely updates via Project Templates, Project Dashboards and Update Forms; and develop agendas, minutes, metrics, etc. for the teams.
- Deliver transparent, timely and effective verbal and written communication to teams, stakeholders, and appropriate levels of the organization.
- Lead “lessons learned” exercises, share lessons among project leaders and other teams.
- Exhibits excellent oral, written communication, and presentation skills.
- Has a strong business and financial acumen.
- Demonstrate leadership & influencing skills across organizational functions and levels.
