What You’ll Do

  • Act as an onsite field resource for projects, troubleshooting, and deploying new equipment.
  • Consult with clients on hardware/software rollouts and provide training on deployed systems.
  • Manage and support Windows Server, Virtualization, Cloud Platforms, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
  • Plan and execute projects with strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Perform local and cloud server migrations, including Microsoft Office 365 transitions.
  • Assist Security Engineers with compliance, risk assessments, and business continuity planning.
  • Troubleshoot network components (routers, firewalls, switches, cabling) and conduct wireless network assessments, design, and heat mapping.
  • Collaborate with the Technical Account Management team on Sales Engineering requests.

Skills You’ll Need

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Managed Services and/or IT Consulting, with relevant certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days):
    • Microsoft MCSA: Office 365 / MCSA: Windows Server 2012/2016
    • CompTIA Security+ / Server+ / Cloud+
  • Proficiency in RMM tools (Automate, Kaseya), backup solutions (Acronis, Datto), and ticketing systems (ConnectWise or similar).
  • Expertise in Windows Server/Workstation installation, configuration, and troubleshooting along with UTM/router/switching/wireless technologies.
  • Strong infrastructure knowledge, including network cabling installation and termination.
  • Excellent customer service skills during business hours, with on-call availability for emergency support (nights & weekends).
  • Strong communication, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with a commitment to accurate time entry and documentation.
  • Must be professional, reliable, and punctual, able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel as needed.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, possess a valid driver’s license, and pass a background check.
