Who We Are
Our Tilmanstone Salads site specializes in premium salad products, including leafy salad bags, salad bowls, takeaway meals, prepared vegetables, and side dishes. We work with one of the UK’s most prestigious retailers in a state-of-the-art facility.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Hygiene Section Leader to oversee a section of the factory, reporting to the Hygiene Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Health & Safety – Lead by example, ensuring hygiene, safety, and quality standards are met.
🔹 Performance Management – Oversee attendance, absence management, return-to-work processes, and disciplinaries.
🔹 Quality Control – Conduct daily shift audits and report deviations.
🔹 Continuous Improvement – Monitor KPIs, identify resource needs, and escalate as necessary.
🔹 Team Leadership – Handle communication, training, recruitment, coaching, and online supervision.
What We’re Looking For
✅ Strong leadership skills with a positive, motivated attitude.
✅ Food manufacturing experience in a supervisory role (preferred).
✅ Excellent people management and organizational abilities.
✅ Ability to prioritize and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
✅ Strong IT skills and familiarity with app-based performance monitoring systems.
