Position Overview: This role oversees all Human Resources, Labor Relations, and Communications activities for approximately 200 employees, partnering with leadership to align HR strategies with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate business strategy into HR action
  • Build productive relationships with Union representatives
  • Oversee Labor Relations, including grievances and negotiations
  • Manage benefits, payroll, and compliance with employment laws
  • Drive diversity, workforce planning, and talent management
  • Develop policies, compensation, and performance management
  • Partner with local agencies and community boards
  • Lead organizational design and team-based leadership initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field; advanced degree a plus
  • 5+ years of union environment experience
  • 15+ years in HR management in a large manufacturing setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred:

  • Experience with pension administration, community relations, and team-based leadership
  • Familiarity with Workday, Kronos/UKG, and ADP systems
