About the job
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented HR Data Analyst to support a growing HR team by providing actionable insights and data-driven recommendations. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to analyze and present HR metrics to help drive decision-making processes within the organization. You will be responsible for compiling, analyzing, and presenting data related to recruitment, employee performance, retention, compensation, and other HR-related areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, and analyze HR data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights to support HR decision-making.
- Develop and maintain HR reports, metrics, and dashboards, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of data. This includes key performance indicators (KPIs) such as turnover rates, recruitment metrics, and employee engagement.
- Create clear, visually compelling presentations in PowerPoint to present findings and recommendations to HR leadership and key stakeholders.
- Use advanced Excel functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) to manipulate large datasets, generate reports, and support ad hoc analysis requests.
- Assist with HR-related projects, such as talent acquisition, training and development, and performance management, through data analysis and reporting.
- Identify opportunities for improving data collection, reporting processes, and HR practices based on data insights.
- Work closely with HR team members to understand their data needs and provide analytical support in a timely manner.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Bilingual preferred – English & Portuguese
- Previous experience in a data analysis role, ideally within an HR or People Analytics function.
- Proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros, and data visualization).
- Strong PowerPoint skills for creating visually engaging presentations and reports.
- Knowledge of HR metrics and experience working with HR data (e.g., employee turnover, recruitment, engagement, and performance).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze complex data sets.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
