Responsibilities
- Adhere to Company Health and Safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Perform housekeeping tasks as required in line with Company Hygiene Rules.
- Prepare equipment for job changes to ensure smooth and efficient transitions.
- Execute job changes using the correct equipment and procedures, optimizing efficiency and minimizing downtime.
- Identify and resolve faults with the machine during and after job changes, making necessary adjustments to ensure proper functioning and reduce downtime.
- Maintain IS (Independent Section) machines following a scheduled plan to prevent mechanical issues and ensure smooth operations.
- Repair equipment from IS machines to prepare it for reuse, maintaining efficiency and minimizing downtime.
Required Skills / Qualifications
- Apprentice-trained Mechanical Craftsman.
- Proficient in handling all IS Machines, including:
- Setup
- Adjustments
- Repairs
- Dismantling and reassembly
- Fault diagnosis
- Basic welding
- Fabrication
- Pipework installation
