About the Job
If you love food and enjoy life on the road, you’ll thrive as one of our Online Drivers, delivering groceries and offering a friendly, professional service to our online customers.
As an Online Driver, your role will focus on delivering customer orders on time and in great condition, providing an excellent service along the way. Whether it’s greeting customers with a smile, handling queries professionally, or keeping them updated on delays, you’ll be the face of Sainsbury’s. The job also involves lifting and moving online containers weighing up to 15kg. When you’re not out driving, you’ll assist in the store.
We’ll ensure you’re fully trained to drive one of our delivery vehicles. To qualify, you must be over 18, have held a full UK/EU driving licence for at least 12 months, and have no more than 6 points on your licence. You’ll need to complete an online driving risk assessment as part of the interview process, followed by a driving assessment when you join us.
