We offer specialist units for secure Deaf & Mental Health services, a dedicated educational provision for young people, and high-dependency units supporting reintegration into the community.
Your Role as a Highly Specialist Speech And Language Therapist (Part Time)
As a Highly Specialist Speech And Language Therapist (Part Time), you will provide assessment and intervention for service users with speech, language, and communication difficulties. You will also deliver specialist clinical advice, develop intervention plans, and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and design individual/group therapy plans using evidence-based interventions.
- Provide clinical supervision to a small team of Speech and Language Therapists.
- Offer specialist advice and training to staff on communication strategies.
- Maintain professional records and reports in line with RCSLT standards.
- Lead on service planning and development, ensuring best practices in mental health care.
What We’re Looking For:
- A Degree/Diploma in Speech and Language Therapy.
- HCPC registration and RCSLT membership.
- Experience working with individuals with mental health conditions.
- Strong knowledge of current best practices in Speech and Language Therapy.
- BSL skills are desirable, but training will be provided if needed.
