Key Responsibilities
Training & Development for Vision Center Teams
- Serve as a mentor and coach for Market Directors and vision center associates.
- Utilize the Coaching with CARE model to provide hands-on training.
- Identify key training needs through KPIs, feedback, and performance reviews.
- Facilitate virtual and in-person training sessions, ensuring consistency in learning.
- Encourage professional development and career advancement opportunities.
Enhancing Vision Center Operations & Performance
- Partner with Market Directors to implement strategic business initiatives.
- Conduct store visits to assess and optimize operations.
- Collaborate with optometrists and store leadership to ensure compliance with company and state regulations.
- Analyze sales data, markdowns, inventory levels, and insurance claims to drive performance.
- Support associates in achieving operational goals, maintaining compliance, and improving service quality.
Vision Center Development Coach R60b: Driving Business Success
- Align operational strategies with financial goals to maximize revenue.
- Monitor key performance indicators and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute growth plans.
- Support the sale and integration of hearing products within vision centers.
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and safeguard patient data.
Vision Center Development Coach R60b: Leadership & Collaboration
- Work closely with Health & Wellness Learning & Development teams to launch new training initiatives.
- Communicate market trends and sales performance updates to regional directors.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on optical operations and insurance plans.
- Conduct lab analytics reviews and troubleshoot any issues.
Ongoing Professional Growth & Development
- Stay up to date with industry trends, new lens technologies, and best practices.
- Maintain professional certifications, including ABO or state-required optician licensing.
- Attend leadership and business management training sessions.
- Provide optician services one day per month (where legally permitted).

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in optical business management.
- 2+ years of leadership experience, including mentoring and performance management.
- ABO certification or optician licensure (as required by state laws).
- NPI number registration where required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience as a Walmart Vision Center Manager or Sam’s Optical Manager.
- Degree in Business Management or Healthcare Administration.
- NCLE certification.
