HGV Technician (automotive) required on a permanent basis. Grantham OTE £45,000 pa 40 hours a week. Shift pattern@ rotating earlies and late shift and every other Saturday morning as overtime. Additional overtime opportunities available and call out/stand by to site. As a HGV (Truck) Technician for our client, your role is to keep our customer’s vehicles on the road, via quality, safe and compliant maintenance. There’s plenty of overtime opportunities for you too. Being part of the team is about being experts in what our client does. Our client is committed to investing in your career and skill set, so when you join our technical fleet workshop, where we maintain Mercedes-Benz trucks (Daimler Trucks), you will benefit from BPW and LOLER training, as well as online H&S e-learnings. Day to day, you will be:

  • Performing major and minor repairs to heavy goods vehicles, trailers and other vehicles.
  • Performing regular inspection and general preventive maintenance services such as tyre rotation and oil changes.
  • Maintaining inventory in the workshop and cleanliness from oil spills and dust.
  • Working with repair teams to help diagnose and plan repairs for the vehicles.
  • Maintaining records of vehicles that have been repaired or handled. Interested? Please send your CV right away
