About the job

Apex Systems is hiring a Mergers and Acquisitions Project Manager in the Healthcare space. This is a 6 month contract that will be highly hybrid out of the Charlotte, NC market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead integration projects in two phases: reaching day 1 readiness, followed by in-state planning and full implementation.
  • Collaborate with business units to define project scope, ensuring clear communication across cross-functional teams.
  • Navigate ambiguous situations and proactively address undefined project needs.
  • Engage in traditional project management tasks, including stakeholder collaboration, scope definition, and tracking updates.
  • Support various technology domains, including Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, EMR, Epic, Data, Digital, and Analytics.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably within M&A and healthcare sectors.
  • PMP
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with business units and stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage projects in ambiguous and fast-paced environments.
  • Familiarity with EMR systems and technology stacks is beneficial but not required.
  • Healthcare industry experience is a significant plus.
