Our client, headquartered in Singapore, is seeking a Head of Finance for one of their JV operations to be based in Doha, Qatar. Apart from leading the finance function, you will also be expected to lead growth initiatives in the region.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Group function in Singapore, you will be a key finance business partner to the Head of Markets, as well as oversee all financial aspects of business, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as ensuring compliance to internal control policies and procedures.

Additionally, you will provide analysis and insights to management around financial modelling, scenario analysis, forecasting and profitability, and work closely with sales and operations teams in tendering/pricing bids and support. You will also manage the overall treasury function, with specific emphasis on cashflow management and ensuring sufficient liquidity for the company’s daily operations.

Requirements

Ideally you have a degree in Finance, Accounting and/or Business, with between 10-15 years of relevant commercial experience gained in a corporate MNC environment. You are independent, resourceful and can effectively engage senior stakeholders across functions. Analytical and one with a positive attitude, your high energy and passion for business partnering are critical in allowing you to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
