This rapidly growing PE-backed technology disruptor has captured strong interest across the investment community. Following another year of significant growth, both organically and through acquisitions, the company is on an ambitious expansion trajectory.
With further acquisitions and strategic initiatives on the horizon, this fast-paced, well-funded, and entrepreneurial business is looking to recruit a dynamic Head of Commercial Finance for this newly created role.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the CFO, you will lead a small FP&A team and play a critical role in shaping the company’s financial and commercial strategy. Key responsibilities include:
- Business Partnering – Collaborate with executive-level stakeholders, including the CCO, CEO, and CTO, providing strategic financial insights to drive performance.
- Commercial & Financial Analysis – Support decision-making by analyzing performance, evaluating business cases, and assessing growth opportunities.
- Strategic Decision Support – Advise on pricing strategy, market expansion, customer profitability, and investment cases, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- KPI Ownership – Define, track, and enhance key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring data accuracy and insightful reporting.
- Long-Term Financial Planning – Lead the development and validation of financial models for both internal strategy and investor reporting.
- Budgeting & Forecasting – Oversee the annual budget and forecasting process, ensuring financial sustainability and growth planning.
- Investor Reporting – Provide strategic financial analysis and reporting for PE investors, supporting key financial decisions.
- Team Leadership – Develop and mentor the FP&A team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
About You
The ideal candidate will be a highly credible finance professional with a strong background in commercial finance, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), and strategic decision-making. You should have:
✅ Proven experience in driving commercial finance strategy and influencing senior stakeholders.
✅ Technology or related sector experience (PE-backed exposure is a plus).
✅ Strong financial acumen, with expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
✅ Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently in business-critical discussions.
✅ A strategic mindset, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
