The Role:
As a Head of Business Development/Business Development Manager, you’ll focus on driving new business and managing client relationships for multiple summits and conferences. Your role will include:
- Generating and securing new business sales through LinkedIn, email, cold calls, and virtual meetings.
- Managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to onsite client management.
- Building and maintaining long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
- Working towards sales targets with resilience and a proactive approach.
- Collaborating closely with operations and marketing teams to execute successful events.
Key Sales Responsibilities:
- Understand the market, products, and competitor landscape.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies.
- Maintain detailed and organised CRM records.
- Represent the company’s brand and uphold its values.
- Work closely with clients and internal teams to ensure seamless event execution.
Ideal Candidate Attributes:
- Experience: Minimum 3+ years in B2B sales, ideally in conference or sponsorship sales.
- Ambition: A hunger for success and a drive to exceed targets.
- Relationship Builder: Passionate about creating and nurturing business partnerships.
- Resilience: Persistent and innovative in your approach to business development.
- Team Player: Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with colleagues and clients alike.
Rewards:
- 40-45k Base, 60-65k Uncapped OTE
- Hybrid working (Monday and Friday remote).
