About the Role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Head Chef to join an established, high-end brand for their new café opening in Belgravia. This is an ideal role for a passionate chef looking to lead a refined kitchen focused on high-quality, artisanal food with a French influence. This could suit an already established Head Chef or even a Senior Sous Chef looking to step up into their first Head Chef role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a brigade of approximately 10-15 staff in delivering a premium brunch, lunch, and dinner experience.
- Develop and execute a menu inspired by the brand’s best-sellers, including freshly baked goods, grab-and-go sandwiches, and refined café classics.
- Ensure all baking is done on-site, maintaining the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Oversee kitchen operations, manage stock, control costs, and maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization.
About You:
- Proven experience as a Senior Sous Chef in high-end or upscale casual dining establishments.
- Strong knowledge of refined café cuisine and brunch items, with a commitment to high-quality, fresh ingredients.
- Excellent team management skills with a collaborative approach to leadership.
- A passion for culinary creativity, with a focus on both aesthetic and flavor.
- A strong understanding of kitchen operations and efficiency.
