Job Overview – Financial Analyst:
Join our client, a leading Financial Services organization in the Greater NYC area, as a Financial Analyst consultant. This role involves assisting with a variety of ad hoc projects, working closely with the Department Head and Administrative Team to ensure smooth operations and effective project execution.
Compensation: $35 – $45/hour
Location: New York, NY
Responsibilities as the Financial Analyst:
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Department Head and Administrative Team on various matters.
- Document Preparation: Prepare and process investment memos, subscriptions, redemptions, and trade tickets.
- Fund Support: Coordinate quarterly updates for funds, investment committee minutes, and management.
- Data Management: Organize and maintain the data room, handle post-closing documents, and ensure data integrity.
- Compliance Coordination: Work with Compliance on regulation requirements and SEC updates.
- Meeting Management: Take and circulate weekly meeting minutes.
- Report Production: Produce documents, reports, and presentations in a business format.
- Market Research: Perform market research using Bloomberg Terminal or other information-gathering tools.
- Data Entry: Handle high volume data entry, utilizing Excel functions including pivot tables and lookups.
- Ad-Hoc Projects: Assist with various ad-hoc projects as needed.
Qualifications for the Financial Analyst:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree; prior experience in a similar capacity (internships accepted).
- Skills: Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, effective oral and written communication skills.
- Technical Proficiency: Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office, including proficiency in Excel.
- Attributes: Highly organized with the ability to multitask and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
