I am working with one of Oxfords established Bio-tech companies on the search for a Finance Manager to support the preparation and review of group management accounts, statutory financial statements, and monthly reporting activities.
The ideal candidate will be Fully Qualified ACA/ACCA and have 5 years PQE, with strong knowledge of IFRS and technical reporting.
Responsibilities –
- Review monthly financial reporting for EMEA entities
- Oversee and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with relevant accounting standards.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, highlighting risks, opportunities, and recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, financial regulations, and accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP).
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors, preparing relevant documentation and managing audit queries.
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
Requirements –
- Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA) 5 years PQE
- Experienced in the preparation and/or audit of complex, multi-currency, consolidated management and financial information for a UK listed group;
- Excellent understanding of IFRS reporting requirements; experience of IFRS implementations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a team of finance professionals.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
