They should have worked within Property or Real Estate sector and would be advantageous to have experience of fast growing SME’s or Start-up environments. They should be comfortable interacting with the management team but equally able to ‘roll up their sleeves’ when needed.

Reporting to a dynamic Founder, You will play a crucial role in overseeing financial operations, providing strategic insights, and ensuring the financial health of the organization. You will work closely with the rest of the senior management team and the business to drive financial performance and support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Full ownership of the day to day running of the finance function:

 

  • Business Partner to the Management team, advising on financial aspects to improve efficiency and performance including Analyse of financial performance.
  • Manage the preparation of financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
  • Oversee budgeting and financial planning processes.
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support financial decision-making.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Assist in the management of cash flow, investments, and financial risk.
  • Ownership of the year end process.
  • Vat returns and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Manage the consolidation of financials for the group.
  • Ad hoc Financial modelling projects
