THE GIST:

Our client, a health tech start up, seeks a top-notch Executive Assistant to support their CEO in Oakland. The ideal candidate has an impressive career-long track record of supporting CEOs in tech, specifically during phases of hypergrowth. THE NITTY GRITTY:

  • Expertly coordinate CEO’s calendar, addressing any conflicting appointments and sending reminders
  • Develop keen sense on how to best optimize CEO’s time & determine priorities
  • Arrange domestic & international travel and prepare itineraries
  • Manage inbox and communications
  • Regularly interact with high-profile & important stakeholders on behalf of the company with discretion & professionalism
  • Handle incoming & outgoing communications with confidentiality and urgency
  • Create presentations & decks, prepare deliverables, and distribute meeting materials
  • Spearhead a wide range of internal and external communications
  • Plan & execute company events & meetings
  • Partner with CEO’s personal assistant to ensure seamless scheduling and daily operations
  • Assist with other administrative functions and ad hoc projects, as needed

THE ESSENTIALS:

  • 10+ years of executive assistant experience
  • Must have experience working at a high growth tech company, ideally mid sized (500-2500)
  • 5+ years of experience supporting a CEO or founder in tech
  • Ability to act as a excellent extension & representation of the company
  • Superior level of discretion when handling sensitive information
  • Experience working in ambiguous and fast-paced environments
  • Clear and professional communication style, both verbal & written
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to shift, adapt, and pivot when confronted with new challenges and opportunities
  • Experience working cohesively within all levels of an organization and with external stakeholders
