Job Description
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Examination Officer to join our team at South Hampshire College Group. As an Examination Officer, you’ll play a key role in managing the entry, processing, and maintenance of examination data, ensuring the efficient and accurate operation of examinations across the college. This permanent, full-time role offers a competitive salary of up to £26,924 per annum and provides a range of benefits, including 38 days of annual leave and a pension contribution of up to 27.01% per year.
Your Role as an Examination Officer
As an Examination Officer, you will be responsible for:

Managing and processing all examination entries, registrations, and assessment data.

Preparing and distributing all necessary paperwork for examinations, including setting up exams with the team.

Planning and scheduling formal exams in line with external quality standards.

Ensuring that all course/qualification information is accurately recorded in the college systems.
Skills and Experience for the Examination Officer Role
The ideal candidate for the Examination Officer role will have:

Experience working with award organizations such as Pearson and City & Guilds.

Proven experience with complex database systems and providing accurate data entry solutions.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

3-4 GCSEs (or equivalent), including Maths and English at grade C/4 or above.
