    Job Description

    Visitor Relations Tour Guides serve as brand ambassadors, responsible for learning and delivering detailed content and scripted material to provide immersive experiences such as the Everett Factory Tour, Backstage Pass, and other interactive presentations. This role also involves engaging with visitors throughout the Future of Flight facility, managing ticketing and lobby services, leading hands-on STEM activities like robotics and drone demonstrations, and interpreting gallery exhibits.

    Beyond conducting tours, the role includes additional operational duties and assignments. Visitor Relations team members must actively engage with guests, prioritize exceptional customer service, and exhibit enthusiasm for learning and sharing accurate information about *** products and aviation concepts. They will collaborate with team members to execute daily business processes efficiently, ensuring alignment with Future of Flight objectives.

    This is a full-time position, requiring availability on weekends and holidays. Future of Flight currently operates Thursday through Monday, with operating hours subject to change based on seasonal demand, special events, and operational growth.

    Required Qualifications:

    • 1+ years of experience in a customer service or communication-focused role
    • Experience in a position involving presenting, training, teaching, or performing in a client-facing environment
    • Strong ability to work effectively within a team-oriented setting
    • Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and consistent attendance
    • Flexible availability, including early mornings, mid-days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
    • Capability to remain in a standing or walking position for up to six (6) hours per shift

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • At least six months of experience conducting public tours and/or public speaking
    • At least six months of experience using technology for events, exhibits, or point-of-sale (POS) systems
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
    • Familiarity with Future of Flight programs or experiences
    • Educational background typically includes a high school diploma/GED and four or more years of related work experience, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., vocational school/Associate’s degree + 2 years of related work, Bachelor’s degree, etc.
