Job Summary: The Event Chef will be responsible for planning, preparing, and executing high-quality meals for various events, including weddings, corporate gatherings, and private parties.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with clients to create customized menus that meet their preferences and dietary needs. Plan and prepare meals for events, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Oversee kitchen operations during events, managing a team of kitchen staff as needed. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with health and safety regulations. Manage inventory and order supplies as necessary. Work closely with event coordinators to ensure seamless execution of food service during events. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas. Stay updated on culinary trends and incorporate them into menu planning.

Qualifications

Culinary degree or equivalent experience. Proven experience as a chef in an event or catering setting. Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices. Excellent culinary skills, including proficiency in various cooking techniques. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
