Job Title – Environmental Project Manager

Location: Toronto, Ontario

Position Overview:

Skyline Recruitment is seeking an experienced Environmental Project Manager to join our clients team in Toronto. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in environmental sciences and demonstrated expertise in conducting Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs). This role involves mentoring environmental technologists, engaging with stakeholders, and managing various environmental projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct and oversee Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Mentor and support environmental technologists in their professional development.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Network with clients and industry professionals to foster relationships and promote collaboration.
  • Prepare and present project reports and findings to stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on environmental regulations and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in Environmental Sciences; a graduate degree is preferred.
  • Professional designation as P.Eng. or P.Geo. is required; QPESA authorization is a definite asset.
  • Extensive experience in performing Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs).
  • Strong mentoring skills to guide and develop junior staff.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Bilingualism (English & French) is an asset, but not a requirement.
