The Role: You’ll be joining a team of 3:

  • Head of IT Service and Applications
  • IT Service Manager
  • IT Operations Manager

You will be the team’s first Enterprise Architect. The team is rapidly growing with 4 other people currently being hired simultaneously to you: an Apps Analyst, Service Delivery Analyst, Cloud Systems Engineer and Cloud Network Engineer. In addition to your team, you will hold a strategic relationship with an MSP and an API integrations consultancy.

Core responsibilities:

  • Proven experience (8+ years) in enterprise architecture or a similar role in a global, fast-paced environment.
  • Expertise in frameworks like TOGAF or Zachman
  • Cloud platform experience (Azure, AWS, or GCP). You will be integrating systems on an Azure ecosystem but public cloud principles from any vendor will be OK
  • Strong commercial acumen and experience negotiating with partners and vendors.
  • A strategic thinker with hands-on delivery experience in IT transformation projects.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and engage senior leaders.
  • Knowledge of the financial services industry is a bonus as our clients’ customers work there.
  • Familiarity with regulated environments and data governance is highly desirable.
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Review and implement resilient, scalable enterprise architecture to support current and future business needs.
    • Develop architecture blueprints and roadmaps that align IT and business strategies.
    • Collaborate with senior leaders and teams across the business to meet strategic objectives.
    • Lead architectural direction for transformation projects, including M&A integration.
    • You will lead and drive meetings, including running the design authority and business change.
    • Manage technology investments in cloud infrastructure, data governance, and cybersecurity.
    • Align IT systems with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
    • Continuously assess and incorporate emerging technologies into architecture planning.
