Job Summary
The Email Marketing Coordinator will oversee the coordination and management of email marketing programs, projects, and events. This role involves creating and implementing administrative systems, serving as a primary point of contact, and efficiently responding to inquiries from potential customers, participants, and academic collaborators. Additionally, the coordinator will be responsible for maintaining records, reports, budgets, and plans and may also update web pages, websites, or program materials.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and manage email campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, utilizing standardized templates and processes.
- Collaborate with email marketing team members and internal stakeholders to define campaign requirements, asset delivery, and production timelines.
- Conduct initial Quality Assurance testing to verify content accuracy, proper rendering across devices and browsers, and link functionality.
- Prepare, upload, and validate recipient lists provided by stakeholders.
- Oversee stakeholder proofing of emails, incorporating revisions based on feedback.
- Manage the final approval process, ensuring alignment with stakeholders and designated email marketing team members.
- Schedule email deployments, confirm scheduling details with stakeholders, and monitor deployment progress.
Required Technical Skills & Knowledge
- 2+ years of experience using Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Studio, including Content Builder and Data Extensions.
- Proficiency in HTML and CSS.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing deadlines.
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist certification is a plus.
Additional Requirements
- 2 to 3 years of relevant experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational skills to plan, prioritize, and track work effectively.
