Electrician Helper/Apprentice

Duties:

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components in accordance with local and national electrical codes.
  • Use hand tools and power tools to complete electrical projects.
  • Interpret electrical schematics and blueprints to determine the layout of electrical wiring and equipment.
  • Test electrical systems using specialized tools to identify and resolve any issues or malfunctions.
  • Collaborate with other team members to complete projects within specified timelines.
  • Follow safety protocols and adhere to all relevant regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

Skills / Requirements:

  • Proficient in using hand tools and power tools for electrical work.
  • Familiarity with National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant regulations.
  • Basic knowledge of low and high voltage systems and their associated safety precautions.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve electrical issues.
  • Reliable transportation: This position requires travel throughout North & South Carolina.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
