Position Summary
As an Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures while adhering to strict production deadlines and budget constraints. This role involves acquiring necessary resources, coordinating with team members and third-party contractors, and ensuring that all electrical work is completed according to plan. All duties must be performed in compliance with company policies, U.S. state and federal regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of commercial Journeyman experience in the industry
- Degree or certification from a technical school
- 3-5 years of experience in aerospace, wiring equipment, and general electrical work (preferred)
- Ability to build and install control panels and perform system maintenance
- Proficiency in reading Electrical Single Line blueprints
- Experience diagnosing and repairing faults in electrical apparatus and circuits
- Capability to verify compliance and ensure functionality of electrical installations
- Experience assisting with project and crew management
- Ability to estimate and manage material requirements
- Strong leadership and pre-planning skills
Physical Requirements
- Lift 50 lbs from the ground and exert 50 lbs of force
- Perform ladder climbing, wire pulling, and conduit pulling
- Fully squat, stoop, or kneel while wearing a 25 lb tool belt
- Maintain a standing position for extended periods while performing repetitive tasks
- Operate lift equipment, including boom lifts, scissor lifts, and man baskets
