We are seeking a passionate Education Coordinator to join our dedicated team at Baca in Cambridge. As a leading organization supporting 16- to 18-year-old refugees, Baca empowers young people to become independent contributors to society. This opportunity is ideal for an Education Coordinator who thrives in a purposeful environment and is committed to making a lasting impact.
This is a part-time, permanent role (30 hours/week), based at our Cambridge office with travel to Baca service sites. The salary ranges from £23,207–£24,962 (pro rata), plus a Cambridge cost of living allowance of £2,301 per annum.
Key Responsibilities of the Education Coordinator

Creatively deliver Baca’s education program tailored to diverse learning needs.

Support young people’s progress in line with Baca’s Theory of Change: wellbeing, education, employment, social and personal safety.

Continuously evaluate and enhance the education curriculum.

Liaise with colleges and partners to facilitate course enrolment and academic success.

Recruit, train, and support a team of education volunteers with structured materials and supervision.

Manage volunteer activity coordination and ensure impactful student-volunteer engagement.

Track and report on education services, outcomes, and budgets accurately.

Experience & Skills Required for Education Coordinator

Proven track record in educational or youth service coordination.

Experience leading volunteers and project delivery.

Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.

Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital tools.

Knowledge of challenges faced by unaccompanied asylum-seeking youth.

Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to service sites.

Must pass an Enhanced DBS check.
