As a Sales Lead, you’ll work closely with the Sales Director to embed and follow the strategy of the Business Apps Commercial function within the respective practice. Your Role

As a Sales Lead, you’ll report directly to the Sales Director and manage a team of Sales Managers within the Commercial function. This role carries an individual reduced sales target, along with responsibility for overseeing the Financial Services team. It’s essential for this role to manage the senior stakeholders of the prospects and clients aligned to the Market Vertical, as well as managing the market vertical relationships with partners. You must be well-informed and possess credibility within your respective market vertical, particularly in Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE).

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and managing the Practice Commercial Team.
  • Achieving the Practice Sales Order Target and meeting individual sales targets.
  • Embedding processes or procedures in the practice as directed by the Sales Director.
  • Providing coaching, mentoring, and support to the Sales Managers within the practice, fostering their professional growth.
  • Managing performance across the Practice Commercial Team to ensure high performance.
  • Implementing effective controls and processes with guidance from the Sales Director to support successful commercial operations.
  • Identifying opportunities across the Industry Vertical linked to common challenges and desired outcomes.
  • Contributing to the development of a sales recruitment strategy to attract top talent aligned to the practice.
  • Supporting the development and execution of onboarding and training plans for the sales team.
  • Working closely with the Sales Director to ensure an appropriate pipeline of opportunities for the practice.
  • Building and leading effective relationships with Microsoft and other partners to maximize the effectiveness of routes to market.
  • Creating and maintaining a healthy team relationship and rapport within the practice.
  • Working with the Presales Lead to ensure appropriate presales alignment throughout the sales cycle, especially in Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE).
