Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Commercial Truck Operation: Safely drive and operate a commercial truck equipped with a patented lift mechanism to load and unload containers at customer sites, following all safety protocols.
- Vehicle Inspections: Conduct and log daily pre- and post-trip inspections of the truck and lift mechanism to ensure proper functionality.
- Delivery Flexibility: Accept additional deliveries as required to meet business demands.
- Technology Use: Utilize a company-issued handheld device for delivery verification and navigation.
- Equipment Handling: Operate a forklift and/or overhead crane as needed.
- Container Maintenance: Clean and inspect containers to ensure they meet company standards before delivery to customers.
- Customer Interaction: Coordinate rental paperwork and payments with customers and communicate effectively to address questions or concerns.
- Driver Notes & Reporting: Prepare detailed driver notes and provide updates to the Driver Lead or Market Manager regarding customer issues or inquiries.
- Field Repairs: Perform basic container and lift repairs both in the field and at the storage center.
- Storage Center Support: Assist with storage center operations when needed.
- Truck Cleanliness: Maintain a clean truck cab, ensuring it remains free from debris inside and out.
- Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned.
Management & Supervisory Responsibilities
- Reports to Market Manager or Territory Manager.
- This position does not involve direct employee management responsibilities (e.g., hiring, terminations, pay decisions, or performance management).
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour

Job Qualifications: Education & Experience Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid CDL Class B License (must not have air brake restriction).
- Must maintain a current and valid driver’s license.
- Must meet PODS Driver Qualification Standards.
- Must be at least 21 years old (per insurance requirements).
- Possess a valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate or obtain at least a one-year DOT certification.
- Experience with electronic equipment and software preferred.
- Strong math skills required to perform job duties.
- Equivalent combinations of education, training, or experience may be considered.
- Must be able to attend and successfully complete the required two-week New Hire Driver Training Program
