Job Overview

The Director of Operations, AltaMed Health Network position reports directly to the Chief Operations Officer and is responsible for overseeing daily operations to ensure alignment with long-term organizational strategies. Key responsibilities include optimizing efficiencies through strategic resource allocation, establishing performance metrics for evaluation, and managing budgets to achieve financial objectives. The role involves directing managed care programs, monitoring contractual agreements with health plans and providers, and developing policies to maintain compliance. The Director also oversees inter-departmental operations, resolves issues, and collaborates with subcontracted groups to meet departmental goals, while supporting the Chief Operations Officer in monitoring operational impacts in response to market dynamics.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferably in Health Care, Business Administration, Finance or equivalent experience required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience developing/managing health care programs and managed care operations required.
• Minimum of 3 years of supervision or lead responsibility required.
