Position Overview

The Director of Franchise Sales is responsible for driving the expansion of our client’s franchise network through the recruitment of new franchisees and supporting growth among existing franchise partners. This individual will work closely with franchise brokers, consultants, and industry networks to promote franchise opportunities, manage franchise sales processes, and oversee the strategic development of the franchise system. The Director of Franchise Sales will collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure that all franchise development efforts align with the company’s vision and growth targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the recruitment of new franchisees and support incremental growth with existing franchisees across the company’s franchise portfolio.
  • Meet quarterly and annual sales targets for new unit growth across North and Central America.
  • Develop and manage relationships with prospective franchisees, guiding them through the entire sales process from initial inquiry to deal execution.
  • Screen potential franchisees through financial qualifications, ensuring candidates meet the necessary requirements to join the franchise network.
  • Educate franchise candidates on the franchise opportunity and assist them through the development process, from application to final approval.
  • Coordinate franchise applications, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with franchise brokers, consultants, and other key industry partners to drive lead generation and franchise sales.
  • Host franchise candidates at Confirmation Day events, providing them with an in-depth understanding of the business opportunity.
  • Represent the brand at industry trade shows and conferences, building brand awareness and generating new franchise leads.
  • Manage and track the franchise development pipeline, providing regular updates to executive leadership and making data-driven recommendations to optimize sales processes.
  • Cultivate long-term relationships with existing franchisees to foster loyalty and create additional growth opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively with the franchise development marketing and sales team to ensure the success of franchise recruitment efforts.
  • Participate in strategic projects and provide input on policies and procedures that support franchise sales and development infrastructure.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in franchise sales, contributing to the company’s presence as a thought leader in the industry.

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in franchise sales, preferably within the beauty, wellness, or retail sectors.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.
  • Strong understanding of franchise legal regulations and guidelines, as well as business loan and financing processes.
  • Experience using CRM systems and managing sales pipelines.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in a competitive franchise environment.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with potential franchisees and key stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal and external teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% for conferences, in-market visits, and franchise candidate meetings.
