ROLE SUMMARY

The Digital Marketing Specialist – Front-End (WordPress) Developer will work closely with marketing strategists, designers, and content creators to develop high-converting, visually engaging, and performance-optimized web pages and digital experiences. This position plays a pivotal role in driving conversions, improving SEO performance, and ensuring seamless alignment with the company’s digital marketing strategies. As a key contributor to marketing initiatives, this position will collaborate closely with campaign managers and the marketing team to ensure web development efforts are fully integrated into broader digital marketing campaigns.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and optimize high-performance landing pages that align with ongoing digital marketing campaigns, ensuring mobile responsiveness and SEO best practices.
  • Collaborate with marketing strategists to translate campaign goals and design prototypes into functional, responsive web pages that enhance user engagement and drive conversion.
  • Ensure all web development initiatives are aligned with digital marketing strategies, contributing to the execution of email, social media, paid ads, and content marketing campaigns.
  • Work closely with designers, copywriters, and campaign managers to transform design prototypes and wireframes into functional, responsive web pages and digital experiences.
  • Regularly update and maintain WordPress websites, ensuring functionality, mobile-responsiveness, and speed optimization to support marketing goals.
  • Manage and maintain WordPress sites, ensuring smooth updates and resolving issues related to content updates, plugin compatibility, and custom coding when necessary.
  • Ensure web pages function correctly across all major browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) and devices (mobile, tablet, desktop).
  • Set up A/B tests on key landing pages, collaborate with the marketing team to interpret data, and make data-driven improvements to increase engagement and conversion rates.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of website management experience (Required)
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Elementor and WordPress development. (Preferred)
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. Experience with PHP is a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Strong grasp of responsive design principles and best practices.
  • Experience optimizing websites for speed, performance, and security, including techniques such as image compression, lazy loading, and caching.
  • Experience working with WordPress, including theme customization, plugin management, and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to collaborate with non-technical team members and communicate ideas effectively.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console and A/B testing platforms to track performance and implement improvements.
  • Ability to demonstrate a proactive, customer-first approach, in complex stakeholder environments.
  • Ability to build relationships and collaborate within a team, internally and externally.
  • Ability to conduct effective presentations (Required/Advanced)
  • Familiarity with GDPR and privacy regulations in web development (Preferred)
  • Experience with conversion rate optimization (CRO) tools and strategies (Preferred)
  • Experience working with design tools like Adobe Creative Suite or Figma (Preferred)
  • Experience with marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo) (Preferred)
