You’ll be a sociable and friendly Digital Marketing Manager who is at home within a fun, busy, and fast paced hospitality business. You’ll look for the good and always do the right thing, while overseeing all aspects of our Digital Marketing strategy. Working closely with the entire Support Team we want you to share your passion and knowledge to create and develop engaging content for our business.

About You

General Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing the digital strategy as part of the overall Marketing strategy for the business
  • Driving engagement and conversion across all digital channels in order to generate bookings and sales
  • Produce monthly reporting of all digital channels
  • Use insight of digital marketing and hospitality trends to keep comms and digital strategies up-to-date and relevant
  • Monitor and protecting the business’ online presence and reputation
  • Maintain positive working relationships with agencies, suppliers and other functions within the business

CRM – Database Management

  • Create a lead generation & data capture strategy to grow the marketable email database
  • Develop content plans and content for all email communications and measure effectiveness in terms of open, clicks and conversions
  • Management of all marketing databases in line with GDPR regulations

CRM – Loyalty

  • Work with the Head of Marketing to implement and develop the Gusto Gold Rewards strategy
  • Driving engagement and recruitment of the Gold Rewards loyalty scheme
  • Utilise segmentation and CRM tools to target and drive engagement of members
  • Creating, testing and refining targeted email marketing communications that promote loyalty and re-engage lapsed customers

Social Media

  • Develop and implement the social media strategy across all channels
  • Content planning and content creation in order to drive engagement and sales
  • Managing all social channels and measuring their performance
  • Create, optimise and measure social ads
  • Work with operations team to coach teams on how to resolve online customer service and reputation issues
  • Use the latest social media trends and insights to keep social channels up-to-date and relevant

Website & SEO

  • Produce web development plan in line with marketing strategy to drive traffic to website and convert users
  • Continuous audit of the website to optimise user journey and ensure content is up-to-date
  • Monitor and evaluate web performance on an ongoing basis via Google Analytics in order to continuously optimise the site
  • Manage the web agency to enhance SEO and conversion rates
  • Strategically plan and create Wireless Social landing pages in order to drive sales / guest engagement

Essential Skills Include

  • Experience in a Digital Marketing role
  • Working knowledge of social media advertising, CRM systems and Google Analytics
  • Enthusiastic about food, beverage, and hospitality
  • Strong commercial awareness
  • Skill and experience in creative content writing
  • Analytical mindset and critical thinking
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Exceptional organisational, planning and prioritising skills
  • Full clean driving licence
