Job Description

Coast Funding is seeking a data driven Digital Marketing Manager to execute digital media campaigns in support of our internal sales team. The position is an in-office opportunity located in San Diego, CA (Remote positions not available). Ideal candidates will:

  • Understand the consultative and value-based sales approach with ability to align marketing campaigns with that methodology.
  • Create strong value propositions and build lasting relationships with clients through their marketing efforts.

Primary Responsibilities (Job Duties)

  • Plan, execute, and optimize paid search, social media, display, native, and video advertising campaigns to drive inbound sales opportunity.
  • Complete daily/weekly monitoring and optimization of campaigns to ensure KPIs are met or exceeded.
  • Work collaboratively with sales leadership to develop tests across ad creative, audience targets, and landing pages.
  • Must communicate and follow up effectively with the sales department regarding customer accounts on a timely basis.
  • Research and recommend new advertising venues, creative formats, and technologies, staying ahead of trends and recommending possible implementations.
  • Complete quality assurance of digital advertising campaigns and ensure that all work adheres to brand and compliance standards.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or similar level of background in related field.
  • 1 year of relevant experience managing digital marketing campaigns.
  • Highly proficient in Google Ads Manager, Google Analytics, and Facebook Business Manager, HTML Email Creation, WordPress.
  • Outstanding initiative, communication skills (verbal and written), critical thinking skills, with ability to execute on sophisticated marketing strategies.
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced environment with ability to perform under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience marketing to B2B clients, specifically business loans, working capital or other alternative finance products.
  • Prior experience with Salesforce.com platform.
