Our client, a leading medical association, is seeking a Digital Marketing and Communications Specialist for a temporary position through the end of the year, with a strong potential for extension or temp-to-hire. This role is ideal for an early to mid-level professional with a solid foundation in digital marketing, especially in paid social media marketing and search engine marketing. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the placement of paid social media marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate with the Social Media (SoMe) team to support the development and execution of organic social media content.
- Oversee search engine marketing (Google and Bing) and coordinate with marketing, communications, and web teams across divisions.
- Track, analyze, and report on social media and search engine marketing campaign performance.
- Provide actionable insights and lead improvements for future campaigns.
- Support the team by triaging requests and establishing best practices for social media engagement.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) in communications, marketing, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in social media, with 2+ years focusing on paid social and search engine marketing management and strategy.
- 2+ years of experience in search engine marketing (Google and Bing Ads).
- Proficiency in social media tools such as Sprout, Canva, and Google Analytics.
- Strong organizational skills and project management experience.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Desired Qualifications:
- Familiarity with the healthcare or association industry.
- Experience collaborating with senior leadership or management.
Work Environment & Additional Requirements:
- Hybrid work arrangement: 40% in-office (approximately two days per week).
- Must be willing to travel for 1-2 events per year.
