We are seeking a Dietary Aide to work in an LTC home in Sutton. Day and evening shifts are available. The shifts are typically 6am-2pm or 11am-7pm. We are looking for casual staff that can pick up shifts as needed. Hours will vary from casual to full-time based on facility needs.

The successful candidate’s areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Serve meals to residents
- Communicate regularly with dietary supervisorand cooks about meals, leftovers, wastage, temperature, and any other concerns
- Complete nourishment assignments as per menu and nourishment plans
- Follow diets, meal plans, and serving sizes as directed by the registered dietician and/or the dietary supervisor
- Adhere to resident’s likes and dislikes list and communicate any changes to the registered dietician and dietary supervisor
- Assist with basic food preparation
- Practicesafe food handling procedures, proper hand hygiene, and infection control procedures
- All other duties, as assigned
Key qualifications for this position will include, but are not limited to:
- Current Ontario Food Handler certificate
- Completion of a Vulnerable Sector Check
- Valid First Aid/CPR certificate is preferred
- Satisfactory professional references
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar LTC setting***
- Computer literacy is a must
- The ability to focus on multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment
