What You’ll Do

Your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Host daily video shows featured on Denver Sports 104.3 The Fan’s digital platforms (e.g., Coffee Break).
  • Produce regular video shows for Denver Sports 104.3 The Fan’s digital platforms (e.g., In the Sports Office).
  • Collaborate with Talent and Producers to develop unique, engaging, and shareable content that aligns with the brand across multiple social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Serve as the voice behind all social media platforms, ensuring content reflects the Denver Sports 104.3 The Fan brand personality.
  • Partner with the Digital Editor, Program Director, and Talent to enhance monetizable audience engagement.
  • Leverage data and analytics to inform content strategies and optimize audience reach and interaction.
  • Generate innovative ideas and execute them effectively as a self-starter.
  • Drive social media marketing efforts to boost brand interaction, increase audience engagement across devices, and grow subscriber databases.
  • Capture and curate compelling visual content that showcases behind-the-scenes moments, events, interviews, and exclusive station activities.
  • React quickly to breaking news and live events with effective digital coverage.
  • Research, test, and propose new digital opportunities to strengthen audience retention and engagement.
  • Stay updated on platform trends, user experience developments, and evolving digital media guidelines.
  • Identify and execute marketing opportunities using station-owned assets such as videos, images, animations, and blog content.
  • Support and train staff contributing to social media marketing efforts.

Skills & Experience We’re Looking For

  • Preferred experience in entertainment media, journalism, video production, communications, or social media.
  • Strong creativity with demonstrated experience in social media engagement, email marketing, and website content creation (e.g., blogging, contests, UX optimization).
  • Familiarity with paid social strategies and audience targeting techniques such as custom audiences.
  • Ability to balance creativity with analytics, ensuring content aligns with KPIs and organizational objectives.
  • Deep understanding of social media platforms and their unique engagement tactics, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
  • Storytelling expertise with the ability to craft compelling narratives across social media channels.
  • Exceptional writing skills with the ability to tailor messages for social media and micro-blogging formats.
  • Technical proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, iMovie, Google Analytics, Microsoft Excel, and social media reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of the Denver area, including its radio landscape, entertainment scene, sports culture, pop culture, and technology trends.
  • Experience with A/B testing and using data-driven insights to optimize content strategies.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in email marketing tools (e.g., Second Street, MailChimp) and content management systems (e.g., WordPress).
