Our Dental office located in Airdrie Alberta is looking for a dental office manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a dental practice, including managing staff, scheduling patient appointments, handling patient billing, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, maintaining patient records, and coordinating administrative tasks to provide efficient patient care and smooth office operations; they are responsible for leading the front office team, maintaining financial accuracy, and ensuring a positive patient experience.
Key responsibilities:
- Patient Management:
- Scheduling and confirming patient appointments
- Answering patient inquiries and addressing concerns
- Presenting treatment plans and discussing fees with patients
- Managing patient flow and minimizing wait times
Staff Supervision:
- Hiring, training, and supervising front desk staff
- Creating staff schedules and assigning tasks
- Conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback
Financial Operations:
- Processing insurance claims and billing procedures
- Managing patient accounts receivable and collections
- Monitoring practice revenue and expenses
- Preparing financial reports for the dentist
Administrative Tasks:
- Maintaining accurate patient records and medical charts
- Ordering office supplies and managing inventory
- Ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare regulations
- Coordinating marketing and promotional activities
Communication and Leadership:
- Serving as a primary point of contact for patients and staff
- Fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
- Communicating effectively with the dental team, including dentists, hygienists, and assistants
