Business Development Manager

YOUR ROLE

Are you known for your sales skills? Are you passionate about logistics? If so, we have an opportunity promote and sell all the company’s services, to maintain and develop new business opportunities in order to meet budget objective while ensuring consistent high level of service, profitability and cost efficiency, while adhering to all applicable company and regulatory requirements.

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

 

  • Conduct systematic market intelligence in order to find business opportunities.
  • Identify potential customers and qualify them.
  • Build, develop and foster good business relationships vital to the success of the department both internally and externally.
  • Participate in various generating business events (conventions, conferences, other …).
  • Write and submit bids alone or with members of the team.
  • Provide bids and quotations, participate in negotiations.
  • Participate in the preparation and negotiation of major tenders.
  • Communicate client expectations to team members and follow up until integration at the operational level.
  • Manage closely and consistently the customer relationships by using the support of the various departments of the company.
  • Participate actively in problem solving.
  • Maintain and develop existing customer base in the CRM.
  • Other tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

 

Education and Experience: Collegiate Diploma, Minimum five years related experience. Credentials: Valid state issued Driver’s License; Forklift Driver Certification; Other professional certifications may be required.

Skills: Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based and job specific software applications.

Characteristics: Ability to allocate work assignments; Demonstrated experience in managing the financial aspects of a department; Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations; Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
